AIPLA メンバーとの意見交換
2007年4月17日、JIPA東京事務所にて、AIPLA関係者と意見交換会を開催した。AIPLAの来協は、この時期の恒例となっているが、本年は、AIPLA側はIP Practice in Japan Committeeメンバーが増えたこともあり25名、JIPA側は国際第1委員会メンバーを中心に15名、総勢40名の大きな会合となった。
JIPAではこの時期は専門委員会のキックオフ時期ということもあり、準備できた議題は少なかったが、昨年の三極ユーザ会議での出願様式統一についての合意を受け、日本の電子出願に関する現状報告と、そのデモンストレーションを行った。
一方、AIPLAからは、M&Aでの注意点、多国籍企業のIP経営、米国での特許法改正の動きといったホットな話題が紹介され、JIPAからも質問・コメントを行なった。
双方、顔見知りのメンバーも増え、会は終始フレンドリーに進み、午前中の2時間という短い時間であったが、有意義な意見交換を行うことができた。
