At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Okada served canned coffees in cans as an example of use of trademark, and she made a presentation titled "Japanese Trademark System from User's Point of View," introducing the trial system and non-conventional trademarks in Japan, and the assessment of the Madrid Protocol (advantages/disadvantages). Though the gusts could not talk over the morning coffee because it was the first day of Ramadan, Director General Ramli and other Indonesian members asked many questions after the presentation, and thus the meeting was meaningful in a friendly atmosphere.
