JIPA Study Tour Report
JIPA overseas training group which is made up for 25 members, started out for Taiwan, Korea and China on October 17.
On 17th October, the first day of the tour, 16 members got stuck for five hours at the Narita Airport due to airframe maintenance flaw. They were marred by such an accident. The other 9 members, who departed from Kansai airport, visited Lee and Li Attorney at Law on schedule.
From the next day, the tour visited at Directorate General of Customs, Intellectual Property Office, Judicial Yuan, and Taiwan International Patent & Law Office and received their general hospitality at every office.
On the weekend, they recreated their selves with learning something about the traditions and cultures of Taiwan, like visiting National Place Museum etc.
The study tour found that Taiwan government is already ready for open Intellectual Property court, which comes into service from next April.
