JIPA sent lecturers for the seminar hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and KINPA in Seoul, Korea
On June 9, 2011, "The global strategic seminar for intellectual property rights" hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and KINPA (Korea Intellectual Property Association) was held in Korean Intellectual Property Center, Seoul, Korea. JIPA sent Mr. Takenaka, who is a Managing Director of JIPA, and other to this seminar as lecturers, upon receiving an invitation from KIPO and KINPA. KINPA is a Korean user group of intellectual property, and a counter part of JIPA. Since JIPA want to mutual cooperation reinforcement with KINPA as a user group, JIPA sent lecturers.At the seminar, KIPO made a presentation on "The environmental change of the intellectual property by the IP5 cooperation", an academia person made a presentation on "The change of the intellectual property system with the FTA promotion, and correspondence strategy", and Korea business executive made a presentation on "The correspondence strategy of the Korea companies with the change of intellectual property system".
JIPA made a presentation under the title called "The role of the user group on the global patent cooperation era". At first, we introduced about JIPA briefly, secondary we introduced activities of JIPA for the harmonization of patent system in the world, and activities and role of the Trilateral User Group of the Japan, the United States and Europe. Finally, we explained that we wanted to continue a collaborative relationship between JIPA and KINPA, therefore we pushed forward our mutual cooperation reinforcement.
