Korea Intellectual Property Association comes to JIPA
On August 27, Korea Intellectual Property Association (KINPA, Chairperson Lee, Jeong Whan of LG Electronics) came to JIPA and had frank exchange of views concerning organizational operation.KINPA is established on June 4, 2008. aiming to study intellectual property, to cultivate human resources, and to make IP policy proposals for government. KINPA consists of ca. 70 companies, so JIPA expects KINPA to be a good counterpart in Korea.
Mr. Lee, KINPA Chairperson gave a brief address on behalf of KINPA. At first He said that KINPA was established JIPA in mind and he introduced how KINPA is operated and future effort and possibilities.
From JIPA side, Mr. Moriya, JIPA Vise-president, delivered an address of welcome and explained JIPA activities.
KINPA members submitted dozens of questions regarding association administration beforehand. It made us catch their enthusiasm for their newly established organization.
